Welcome to Tapspot! Get up and running quickly with our step-by-step guide. Whether you're a small business owner or managing multiple locations, this section will help you set up your Tapspot devices and start leveraging their full potential.

Creating Your Account

  • Visit the Tapspot Website
    Go to tapspot.co.uk
  • Choose a Subscription Level
    Choose the subscription plan that best fits your needs: Basic, Pro, or Enterprise.
  • Select Your Product Package
    After selecting your subscription, choose the QR/NFC tag packages you wish to purchase. Enter your business details, including your email, business name, and contact information.
  • Receive Your Tapspot Devices In The Post
    Complete the payment process to finalise your order. Once your order is processed, Tapspot devices will be produced and shipped to your provided address.

Setting Up Your Tapspot Devices

  • Unbox Your Devices
    Carefully unpack your Tapspot QR codes and NFC tags.
  • Activate Your Tags
    When you scan a tag for the first time, you will be directed to the Tapspot login/register page. If you're new to Tapspot, complete the registration process; otherwise, simply log in.
  • Create a New Tag
    After logging in, look for the "New Tag" panel at the top of the page. Select or create the relevant business. For multiple locations, you may need to create areas and assign businesses to these areas.
  • Set Up a Campaign
    Choose or create a campaign (for example, "Christmas 2025"). Add your tag to this campaign.
  • Configure Tag Actions
    Select an action for your tag (such as Collect Reviews, Social Media, or Food Ordering). Depending on the chosen action, you might need to enter URLs or detailed information. For multi-link tags, input multiple URLs. For online menus, include product titles, descriptions, allergens, and prices.
  • Activate the Tag
    Click "Create Link" to activate your tag. The "New Tag" panel will disappear, indicating the tag is now active.

Common Setup Issues and Solutions

Unable to Create a Campaign

Make sure you've selected or created the correct business, and set up the necessary areas if you have multiple locations.

Tag Not Activating

Check that all required fields are filled out correctly, especially URLs for multi-link or menu actions.
